Lycamobile climbs The Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100 list to number 42
Lycamobile, the largest global provider of low-cost international mobile calls, has today announced that it has been placed in the 15th annual Sunday Times Top Track 100. The league table ranks Britain's leading 100 private companies with the biggest sales. Lycamobile featured at 42nd this year, climbing up the table 16 places since 2014, thanks to significant year on year growth.
Lycamobile was propelled from the Top Track 250 of the UKs largest private companies in 2014 to number 58 of the Top Track 100, rising 10 places to 48th in 2015. Lycamobile now celebrates its most successful year yet. It is the only telecoms provider to be listed on the prestigious table along with other great brands including John Lewis, Specsavers, Arcadia and Dyson
The announcement follows a busy year for the business with the successful launch of three new offerings: Lycaremit, an online money transfer service; Lycachat, an app that allows the user to make calls, send messages and share videos worldwide; and LycaTV, the world’s largest ethnic channel entertainment platform. The business has also recently rolled-out its MVNO service in Macedonia, the 21st country in its international network.
Global brand Lycamobile forms the foundation of the Lyca Group, created to encompass the full offering of Lyca services which provide people with the chance to improve the way they maintain close networks of friends and family across the world.
