Lycamobile voted 'Most Popular Website' in Telecoms category in both UK and France

Lycamobile, the world’s largest international mobile virtual network operator, has been voted 'Most Popular Website' in the Telecom category in both the UK and France at the 2016 Website of the Year Awards.

Now in its sixth year, the Awards is an annual, public vote, which singles out the best and most popular websites across 19 categories. This is the second consecutive year that Lycamobile has received the ‘Most Popular Website’ accolade in the UK, beating sector rivals including giffgaff, Three, Virgin Media, Vodafone and EE. In addition, Lycamobile France won the same award, beating Bouygues Telecom, Orange and SFR.

Lycamobile UK received over 66% of the votes within the Telecom category, based on website design, content, navigation and recommendation intention, and obtained an average score of 9.2 out of 10 across the four categories. Similarly, Lycamobile France received nearly 50% of the votes in the category.

This recognition follows Lycamobile’s success in this year’s Brand Experience Index, where it was ranked number one in the Telecoms Sector, beating brands such as BT, O2 and Vodafone. The Index, based on a survey of UK participants, also placed Lycamobile second overall, beating brands including John Lewis, Emirates and IKEA.
