Lycamobile launches full MVNO offering in Italy
London (November 2013) - Lycamobile, the largest global provider of low-cost international mobile calls, has announced its launch as a full Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Italy.

The move to Italy has solidified Lycamobile's position as having the most comprehensive coverage of the European population than any other mobile telecom operator. Italian customers will be able to make international calls from one cent per minute to more than 50 countries including India, China, Morocco, France and the US. Other offers available will permit customers to make free Lycamobile to Lycamobile worldwide calls whilst also sending free texts to Lycamobile SIMs in Italy when they top up.

Lycamobile now operates in 17 countries and this announcement emphasises the growing demand for the company's services. This year has seen the company launch its services in Austria but most significantly, the telecoms giant has activated its biggest market launch to date by introducing its service across the USA as the country's first full MVNO.

Subaskaran Allirajah, Chairman, Lycamobile comments:
"Italy has long been one of the few missing pieces in the European puzzle for Lycamobile. We can now provide our customers in Italy with lower rates, more competitive bundles and more flexible promotions. We are extremely excited by this development and look forward to growing our Italian customer base as we move into 2014."
